The Washington Department of Labor and Industries has updated and added new fall protection rules, which went into effect on November 1, 2022.
Falls are the number one hazard for workers that can result in serious injury or even death. It is important to keep up with all the new rules and regulations that are in place along with planning ahead on how to get a job done safely and providing the right equipment during the winter season. Cold weather conditions can add even more of a fall risk for workers, the need for good planning and training is key to keeping everyone safe and preventing a bad fall.
